The Story

This Long Queen Marking Tube is similar to the popular queen marking tube with the plunger but includes an extra feature. The tube is used to confine the queen and hold her in the tube so she can be safely marked with a queen marking pen.

The feature making this queen marking tube different is the side opening that can be used to easily capture the queen. The queen is found on the comb and the opening is carefully placed over her. Without anywhere to go but the tube, the queen walks in and the plunger is gently pressed to force her towards the screen.

Once confined on the screen, the queen can safely be marked and then released into the hive.
